Lagos NAWOJ Applauds NUJ’s Adeleye Ajayi’s New Appointment

Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, (NAWOJ), Lagos applauds Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Adeleye Ajayi on his appointment as head of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Lagos Office.

NAWOJ describes Adeleye Ajayi’s appointment as a reflection of his “great leadership, dedication, and achievements to the world of journalism”.

In a letter of commendation co-signed by NAWOJ’s Chairperson, Dr. Adeola Ekine and Secretary, Lilian Ario, Adeleye is described as an astute professional.

The women Journalists wrote: “Your exceptional work as Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) has been laudable, and we are confident that you will bring the same level of professionalism, integrity, and passion to your new role at NAN Lagos.

They expressed confidence that Adeleye Ajayi’s extensive media business knowledge and expertise will surely help NAN continue to succeed and grow.

The women Journalists also see Ajayi’s appointment as a tribute to his personal accomplishments as well as dedication to quality work and priceless contributions to Nigeria’s media environment.

“We are so proud of you and will be there for you as you start this new chapter in your career”, they stated

Adding, “We anticipate seeing you succeed going forward and the significant contribution you will surely make in your new position”, NAWOJ leadership applauded.
