Queens College will be 90 years old in October and the School has a reputation that predates many of it present management. But for reasons yet to be understood, the College has suffered untold hardship in the hands of its prinicpal administrator, federal government.
An area that has drawn concern to the public is water and sanitation of the presitigious School which for decades was managed by expatriates. The School to a first commer is very beautiful. Its lawns are well mowed and corridors well swept and the aura of freshness tells a new comer “At Queens College, there is indeed class and posh” But is that where the definition ends? Why has the past managements of the prestigious and foremost Girls’ College allowed the beauty and class of this great institution that has produced thousands of great women in the Society to suffer dehumanising trauma?
