As part of its medical care and support for residents, Lagos State government through one of its facility, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), is partnering with Lokmanya Hospital, India for a 2-day free orthopedic camp.
In statement by the Medical Director, Professor Wale Oke, the free medical camp is specifically for Orthopedic patients with joint replacement and spinal cord injuries.
The camp which opens between Thursday, January 25 and Friday January 26, is in collaboration with surgeons from Lokmanya Hospital India known for joint replacements and Spinal cord correction.
Lokmanya Orthopedic surgeons will be on ground to facilitate the free medical camp in conjunction with Orthopedic surgeons at the Teaching Hospital, LASUTH.
The Indian team leader Krishan mohan Sharman, has enjoined residents who have spinal cord injuries or limb deformities to take advantage of the Medical camp to review and know their Orthopedic status and get the best advise from these professionals towards comprehensive treatments at the facility.
Oke, equally encourages men and women, young and old who have challenges with their bone and joints to make sure they seize the unique opportunity to have a medical checkup on the two specified days.
